Criteria:

1. Year 11/12 or equivalent depending on the course.*
2. Either a minimum IELTS test score of 6 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course, or IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 10 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course, or IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 20 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course.
3. Evidence that, within two years of applying, the applicant completed in Australia, in English, either a senior secondary certificate or a substantial part of an AQF Certificate IV or higher while on a student visa.
4. Successful completion of Pre-training Review (PTR).
5. Enrolment fee of $300 to be paid.
6. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older at course commencement.
